Attention Kansas Voters:

A presidential preference primary election will be conducted in Kansas this year. The date of the election, along with the names of the candidates for the office of President will be available on the Secretary of State’s website at VoteKansas.gov, or visit your local county election office for more information.

“The post-election audit will be held Tuesday, May 28 at 9:00 AM in the Supervisors Room at
the Greeley County Courthouse located at 616 Second Street, Tribune, KS. The selection of
precincts for the audit will be at the beginning of the audit at the same location.”

  • Maintain registration database
  • Verify registration validity
  • Generate a registration list and reports
  •  Accept filings for public office
  • Prepare newspaper publications for elections
  • Select election board workers
  • Prepare ballots
  • Make  available advanced voting for voters
  • Prepare results and  provisional ballots for County Board  of Canvassers
  • Certify election results to the  public and Secretary of State
  • Prepare Certificate of Nomination and Certificate of Election forms
  • Record all election results in the permanent record
